About the Role:
The role encompasses bring features from design doc to production in open source, in addition to supporting and interacting with the community to debug and refine user experience. In addition, the role requires a hacker mindset: what techniques can be brought to bear across a wide range of tools in the JavaScript ecosystem to adapt them to new scenarios and new purposes. Many of the tools developers use were designed around smaller codebases and teams, and you will help bring them into the future.
About You:
- You are intrigued by the challenges faced by building and orchestrating other engineer’s code.
- You have ideas about how to architect scalable codebases serving thousands of developers
- You are immersed in the JavaScript ecosystem
- You are an expert in performance tuning. You can analyze and make trade-offs that involve timing, concurrency, distributed computation, and resource usage.
- You are energized by helping other developers and making their lives easier

The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $175,000.00- $215,000.00. This salary range is an estimate, and actual salary may vary based on the company’s compensation practices, location, and candidate experience. The total compensation package may also include benefits and equity-based compensation.
