The Role

At CompanyCam, we know that the key to growth is a high-performing sales team. That’s why we’re seeking a qualified Mid-Market Sales Development Representative (SDR) to find and screen potential customers who could benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales closers for success. The SDR should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for boosting top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for generating new leads and prospecting potential customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, strong communication skills, and be comfortable making cold calls and sending cold emails.

In this job you will…

  • Generate new leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and other prospecting methods.
  • Qualify leads and schedule appointments with Account Executives.
  • Conduct research on potential customers and identify key decision-makers.
  • Educate prospects on the value of our products and services.
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas and targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities in our CRM system.

It’d be nice if you…

  • Have experience with SalesForce or other CRM tool.
  • Obtained a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Have 1-2 years of experience in a sales development role or similar position.

Compensation: This is a salaried position at CompanyCam. Our starting salary is $40,000 and is based on experience. Our average on target earnings (OTE) are around $60,000.  We also offer meaningful equity and other benefits.
